Recent Project Successes
We recently completed a project for our client, Amergent, a software company specializing in the direct mail market. The product allows the Amergent’s client, a not-for-profit group, to keep track of donors and their gifts.
The product was written in Visual Basic and runs under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT. The product allows users to copy batches from the Network database, edit the information locally and post the changes back to the network database. The local database is in MS Access, the Network database is in RMS running on a Vax Alpha. We used a product call Easysoft for RMS along with ODBC to connect our Window based application to the RMS database. This amazing product lets the RMS tables look like a relational database.
For another client, National Datacomputer Inc, we developed a product - Survey Manager ™ - that is used by beverage distributors to survey their customers. The beverage distributors use this information is to improve their marketing. The product is already running in three sites. National Datacomputer is reporting much interest from their customers and prospects. There are two additional installations planned for this year.
